If you would like your child baptised please contact Bill Warren, the Vicar, to make arrangements. Baptisms are most commonly held at the family Service on the first Sunday of the month. If you are thinking of getting married at St Margaret's, please do contact Bill Warren, the Vicar Tel 020 8788 5522 to start the process. The more advanced notice you can give the better. Please note in order to be married at St Margaret's one of you must live within the Parish boundary or be a regular worshipper (i.e. come to church regularly for at least six months prior to the wedding)
Banns of Marriage If you live in St Margaret's Parish but are being married elsewhere you will need to have your Banns read both at St Margaret's and at the church where you are getting married. To arrange the Banns please contact Joyce Roots via the church office, St Margaret's Vestry, Putney Park Lane, London SW155HU Tel. 020 8789 5932. The office is usually open Monday afternoon, Wednesday morning and Friday morning. Answer phone/fax available at other times. Joyce will issue you with the necessary form and charge you the statutory fee. Banns are read at the 10.00 service on three Sundays within three months of the Wedding. |
